Hi, I live with my husband and 2dogs in Prague. Both of us are partially architects. I love reading, yoga and hiking and he is techie and love music (all about it). Often we travel together, and we agreed that journey isn't complete if we don't spend a time with locals.

Hey everyone, I am an English expat currently living and working (as a primary teacher) in Prague! This is my first year in Prague, but prior to here, I lived in Abu Dhabi for 4 years. I live a very easy going, low maintenance life- cafe hopping, dinner dates with friends and gym on rotation. I adore meeting new people and learning their story :)

Hi! I’m a 25-year-old biology teacher and a nature and animal lover. I take care of a small animal farm - I have sheep, goats, a turtle, fish, a lizard, and even some snails. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, listening to music, or simply relaxing with good company.

Hey sisters, my name is Ria and I’m a free spirited adventurer. I left my country (England) to travel the world in 2015 and now i live in Prague, working as a forest ecologist so I can still spend several months of the year exploring Europes forests :) my usual travel style is hitchhiking, camping, and staying with locals - it started off as my only option because of money, but now I continue with this style because of the random wonderful encounters with strangers I have along the way . I’m looking forward to meeting you all, to have a walk, climb a mountain, or to have a drink and chill :) peace !

I went to prague with 2 friends to see the christmas market. Its free so very Crowded and expensive (local restaurants not so expensive tho). Its a small city but if you have plenty things to do: see the Castel, try absinthery, hot wine, eat all the local stuff etc. You also have 2 Anonymous bar very Nice and different but you have to book earlier (at least a week). You can do everythingg walking. I felt very safe there. I never felt so cold in my whole life (-10°) so prepare yourself !!

Prague is a very safe city, I felt really comfortable during my trip. Of course, like any touristy place, it’s good to stay alert for pickpockets in busy areas, but other than that, everything was great. Among the must-see spots, I recommend visiting Charles Bridge and enjoying the view of the Vltava River, as well as Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. The Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock is also a must-see, and Letná Park offers a beautiful view of the city. I’d avoid restaurants too close to Charles Bridge, as they’re expensive and the food isn’t always worth it. Prague’s cuisine is amazing, especially goulash, trdelník, and svíčková. If you want to eat well, go to Lokál Dlouhááá for traditional food or Café Savoy for a delicious breakfast. As for the budget, Prague is pretty affordable. Accommodation costs between €30-€50 per night, and a meal is about €10-€15. Public transport is efficient and costs about €5-€10 per day. In total, about €50-€80 per day is enough to enjoy and explore the city. I stayed at Hotel Botanique, which has a great location and comfortable rooms. Getting around the city is easy; I used the metro and tram a lot, but since the city is compact, it’s also very walkable. One important tip: the transport ticket should be validated ONLY ONCE, and from that time, it’s valid for the duration you selected at the time of purchase. Validating the ticket multiple times, as we do in Paris, will invalidate the ticket and you could get fined. On my itinerary, on the first day, I visited Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and Letná Park. On the second day, I went to Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, and ended the day with a boat tour. On the third day, I explored the Jewish Quarter and relaxed with a beer at Riegrovy Sady.
