About me

Hi 🙋‍♀️, I am Anna, originally from Slovakia, but living in Prague for over 10 years. I am in my late 30s, last year I went through burnout, which has made me to change my job for the new one, which is giving me little more flexibility and some opportunity to try nomad life. So this year I have been working remotely in several countries and I loved it! 😊 Except of travelling I like photography, sport, art, chilling with my friends. I am here to do some home exchange and getting know new people from around the globe 😎

About me

Hey sisters, my name is Ria and I’m a free spirited adventurer. I left my country (England) to travel the world in 2015 and now i live in Prague, working as a forest ecologist so I can still spend several months of the year exploring Europes forests :) my usual travel style is hitchhiking, camping, and staying with locals - it started off as my only option because of money, but now I continue with this style because of the random wonderful encounters with strangers I have along the way . I’m looking forward to meeting you all, to have a walk, climb a mountain, or to have a drink and chill :) peace !

Is Prague safe to travel?

Solo travel

I really enjoyed Prague because it felt very small. I stayed in a hostel close to the old town so walking there at night felt very safe, don’t know if you’re more on the outskirts that it might feel different. Furthermore, it was a bit expensive and very crowded, but that is to be expected in august. Would recommend!

I loved prague, this has been my first solo travel as a woman and i felt super safe, I stayed in a social hostel, the mad house hostel that i totally recommend couse they organized activities every day and is a very good way to know new people. Food is good in prague, i’m gluten intolerant but it has been easy to find gluten free options all over the city. Prague is stunning, just RUN to prague

As a person who don't like the big cities, Prague really surprised me! It's so beautiful! The streets are colorful and wide. A lot of great parks: In Riegrovy Sady you can see the sunset In the huge park of the replica of Eiffel tower there is a part with a lot of apple and pear trees. 'Loving hut' it's a great cheap vegan restaurant that you pay by weight (30% off after 19:30) Lotsss of nature 20 minutes by train all around the city Lots of stuff to do and see♥️

Solo travel

I spent three days in Prague from Strasbourg. I travelled by direct overnight bus. It was quite practical and quite comfortable. I recommend climbing Colin Petrìn for a great view of Prague. Take the magnificent Saint Charles Bridge. Take a break and read a book in the Vojanovy Sady garden. The Museum of Modern Art is very interesting and there's a café nearby that I recommend: Ouky Douky café. I stayed in a youth hostel in Prague 2, Luma terra. It was very good.
