Pilsen is pretty safe in the day and when you don't talk with homeless or drugged people, but after dark it becomes pretty dangerous for a woman while she is alone. I would recommend to always walk in a group.

It's a city that is okay to browse through the day alone, but in the night, I would be a bit worried in some areas alone. If you want to enjoy night life here, I would recommend going out with friends.

In my opinion Pilsen is pretty safe, since there's always a policeman near. Especially in busy places, early in the morning or late and night there's always a police car near you. And the locals here pretty much always mind their business so there's a very low possibility that they'd bother you.😊
Posted: December 24, 2024Pilsen used to be more dangerous at night at certain parts in a city center. Streets Americká and Klatovská is not the best place to stay at night - i remember that people from other countries (ukraine) used to attack each other at streets and in the bars.. This was a few years ago, i dont live in city center but on the outskirts, i feel 100% safe here. And the center at night - i think its safer but i have no reason to go there at night.

Posted: August 23, 2024It is really safe here. I’m not afraid to walk alone at night, not that I love going out at night, but if I have to go back home late, it is okay. Czech Republic is in general very safe. I’m not scared to be robed or smth.
