How safe is Osijek?

Osijek is a very safe town, when I go out in the streets during daytime, I don’t feel a bit scared, I am also not scared when I go out to the club, or go home in the night, or even in the sunrise. The buildings are really safe, and the residents never share safety numbers to anyone, even friends. The apartments and hotels, as I heard from people coming here, are also a safe place. I never felt my house could be broken in, or that i could be assaulted in the streets. Of course there are some dangers, like youngsters speeding in their vehicles, or drunk people in clubs, but they’re a rarity.

As a student I feel safe leaving my dorm alone, even at night. People are normal here, everyone minds their buisness so there is not much to worry about. Unless you intentionaly provoke someone I think you are safe 100%. :)
