Posted: July 13, 2024Very safe city - I’ve been walking at night since teenage life and never had issues. I would recommend solo famale to consider this city as it is safe and easy to get around. Also more people in Beijing speak English than other Chinese regions.
Posted: June 22, 2024Beijing is definitely a safe place to travel and stay. You can go anywhere by public transportation at any time. I really love this city. Because China uses online paying, you don't need to be worried about theft. There are lots of high-educationed people living in Beijing.
Posted: June 17, 2024Beijing is a safe place to travel, but it is still necessary to beware of Chinese men, because most of them lack respect for women. If possible, it would be better to avoid staying with them alone, especially in private places.

Fantastic city, great food, easy to get around, but most of the attractions were very crowded (e.g. Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City, Summer Palace). It's very safe, with cameras literally everywhere.

I loved Beijing. I only had time to spend two days there which was a pity. I felt very safe. I did not so much like the Dinghe hostel, which had no atmosphere. I did really like my visit to the Great Wall of China at Jinshanling. And I can also recommend the three stone kite shop, where you can buy crazy beautiful hand made kites! Besides that I took a lot of metro’s, enjoyed the 798 art scene and wandered the streets.

A girl who loves traveling, meeting new people and having new experiences. I’m in my gap year and have been to more than 40 cities in six countries or regions alone in the past year. During the year, I studied vocal music in Guangzhou, nail art and eyelashes in Yunnan, English in Melbourne and Japanese in Tokyo. I've been to basins, plains, plateaus, hills and mountains; I’ve seen volcanoes, rainforests, snow mountains and gorges; I've done bungee jumping, skydiving, scuba diving and rafting; I’ve made lots of friends from all five continent… the journey will never end! Now learning Spanish and will go to Spain to study.

I am a Chinese girl who is a sophomore in university. My major is Tamil and culture studies. Tamil is used in India, Sri Lanka and Singapore. I do enjoy traveling and immersing myself in different cultures. My plan is to visit Europe, Australia and southeast China before I graduate. This summer vacation I will go to Cambridge University for study and then I will go to London for visit. I really want to talk with this world 🥰
