Is Nanning safe for women?

I have lived there about 25 years since I was born. The most serious harassment I’ve ever experienced is some guy past me and whistle. It’s in the south of China so mostly the weather is warming, people there love night life, you can find a lot food shop open even 11pm. Since it’s a small city there are not so many foreigners around, so you might stand out especially if you are westerners, people might staring you but they just curious, most Chinese didn’t seen a westerner in real life, but they are very friendly and feel free to talk to them. Even though it’s a very safe city for me I still don’t recommend going to some dark empty alleys, there are no 100% safety.
