Known for its towering Rock of Gibraltar, the territory offers breathtaking views, stunning natural beauty, and a rich blend of Spanish and British cultures, due to its unique status as a British Overseas Territory. It's globally renowned for its Europa Point Lighthouse, the magnificent St. Michael's Cave, its lush Botanical Gardens, and the famous Barbary macaques - the only wild monkey population in Europe. Additionally, Gibraltar has a colonial history that has left a wealth of military architecture, and its strategic position has made it a crossroads of cultures and a melting pot of influences.

I have been to Gibraltar many times, it's really a vibrant place. A great choice also for those traveling alone, as there is a lot to do, and on top of that it's really safe. Accommodation can be quite expensive, so it's worth considering Airbnb.

I was in Gibraltar on the way to Morocco and it was amazing. It's a shame that I didn't have more time there. The caves and the view from the top are simply breathtaking. Moreover, I strongly advise against wearing a dress/skirt, as it can be very windy at the top.
