About me
Hellooo, my name is Alexandra and until end if may I'll be with my girlfriend and our cat in Thessaloniki. We've hosted many people in the past and we loved it each time. I'm originally from Thessaloniki so I'm gonna bombard you with random facts about the city (and not only). I love all forms of art and talking about science (don't get me started about microbiome). I'm finishings my studies in being a dietician. I'm doing my internship now at a public hospital. Also, I deeply believe in solidarity and community. I've been volunteering at a social kitchen the past 4 years. We cooks with homeless people on the street and distribute free food. I'll love to go there together.

Is Thessaloniki safe for female travelers?

I felt safe, I spent under 25 euros a day. Food was amazing. I went with tour so my experience was limited yet I highly recommend. Every person I've encountered seems to understand english. It is refreshing walking in the Aristoteles square and trying greek pastries thereby.
