About me

Hi beautiful people!! :) My name is Anastasia, I am 22yo and I’m currently studying economics. I ♡: concerts, picnics, vinyl bars, cinemas, cozy cafes, nature, I’m more of a homebody tho.. I also ♡: food, tea, kind people, passionate people, dogs, people who share similar interests with me.. I’ve solo traveled once before using a similar app; I’ve hosted, surfed and hang out with people and I loved it! I hope I can have the same experience here! I love travelling and experiencing the city like a local, I also love going to concerts while travelling. I get excited talking about music, films, series, books, mangas/manhwas and foooood. My taste in all things is broad. My home is a safe space for everyone<3 PS if anyone cares apparently I’m an infp

Is Thessaloniki worth visiting?

4.2 /5

Solo travel

It is a really beautiful city which many different places. I had a really nice time and you get used to the city very fast. However after a few days it can get a little boring, since the city is not too big.

Solo travel

Thessaloniki is the biggest cultural city of northern Greece and here is what I did and how I felt there during my 3 nights stay: ▪︎ It was overall safe, but being pretty crowded during that period I felt like I have to be more alert. There are also a couple neighbourhoods that you would want to avoid as a solo traveler, but again, I didn't have any bad experience whatsoever. ▪︎ I did some self exploring during the first day, just wondering around the streets and parks, which felt quite idyllic during sunset 🌇 ▪︎ Next two days I had some activities booked in advance, such as day trips to Meteora and Edessa or dinner at the Skyline lounge bar, which I totally recommend - good wine, nice view and live music ✨️🥂 ▪︎ Definetly try local food, I was a huge fan of gyros, bougatsa and bougourdi and their freddo cappuccino. ▪︎ My accommodation was located right next to the city center and I paid around 150 euros for 3 nights via Booking. ▪︎ The public transportation is also very easy to use, I had no problem getting around town or between cities, but expect high traffic on the main streets 👀 Overall, definetly visit Thessaloniki if in Greece and if you can, spare some time for beach activities too ⛱️☀️
