Hi, my name is Ally and I'm looking for some gal pals to travel with. I am engaged to a wonderful man, but unfortunately, he's not much for traveling.

Crowds (I visited off-season, so it's scary to think about how it is during the peak season), the food is much worse than on other Greek islands, prices are also much higher, not many places to explore, and the beaches are quite average. I have visited several different places in Greece, and I regret those few days in Santorini.
Posted: February 11, 2024In my opinion, a postcard from Greece takes your breath away with its atmospheric white towns. The island, in my opinion, is more for sightseeing and walking than for beach activities. The beaches here are not particularly impressive; there are not many places with turquoise waters. And, in my opinion, it is the least Greek of all the islands.
Posted: December 26, 2023I did not have high expectations when it came to Santorini. I was afraid that it would be heavily overhyped. But I completely fell in love with it. We stayed in the town of Fira, which is the capital of the island and an ideal base. It has excellent bus connections from the airport, and from here you can easily reach any attraction on the island. On the first day we walked all around Fira, and compared to other towns that we visited on the island, it is really bustling and lots of things are happening there. I recommend walking from Fira to the town of Imerovigli. The sunset is beautiful. The next day we spent in Oia. We also visited Red Beach and Perissa Beach for a bit of sunbathing.
