About me

Hello ^^ I’m Daniela ( but please call me Dani) , I’m from Colombia . I’m 24 years . I’m currently living in München . I’d like to meet this country and understand the history behind every mountain , building, and living being 🤍. Also , trying to write about me is kinda challenging at the moment, I’ve been trying to change my mindset and everything around me however, I am such a good human being. Some facts about me: 1. I like to listen the rain while I am reading poetry . Currently my favorite one is : “ Aquí. Hoy . By: Jorge Luis Borges “ ( although I don’t like the lack of inclusive language) . 2. I prefer hot chocolate over coffee . 3. I love plants but I have no idea about plants ( for real , I let my first Cactus died, I have to prepare his funeral :( ) . 4. The ocean has my heart. 5. 99.9 % of me is oatmeal + oatmeal. 6. My English is a cutie shitty. 7. Quiero bailar con lo desconocido. Ps: I wish you a kinder sea 🤍.

About me

Hi all!! My name is Sol and I’m from Argentina. I’m 25 years old and located currently in Munich, Germany. I’m a very extroverted person and love making new friends. I’ve been doing a lot of traveling by myself and usually look to stay with people who are locals so it makes it even more fun and easier to explore around the city I’m visiting. I’ve been an Au Pair in the US for almost three years and have done the same in Germany for one year. As you can see I love traveling so much and getting to know new cultures and people. Hope to get to know you some time 🫶🏼😊

Group travel experience

I was with some friends in Munich so I really feel safe. The new eve was really great with a lot of fireworks, some time too near me ahaha. I really like the history of the city through museum and to walk to the different place !

Couple travel experience

I stayed at a Wombats City Hostel which turned out to be incredibly nice. I was with my friend and we shared the room with two other girls. I felt super safe most of the time. However, I always felt a bit wary at night, especially when venturing down dimly lit streets, even though there were two of us. The people were really friendly. Surprisingly, there wasn't much to do on Sundays after 4PM, but it was still delightful to walk around outside. It was much better than I expected! I highly recommend visiting.

Is Munich worth visiting?

Couple travel experience

Munich has several of the best art museums I’ve ever been to. Great collections and great audio guide which is so very helpful for understanding the works. This is a city for art lovers! The cost of living is quite high though…

Solo travel experience

I stayed at The Tent Munich which operates during the summer months. It only cost 10€ a night and was the best hostel experience I've ever had! Met so many amazing people there and even ended up going on the do more travel with some of them! It's in a foresty area only 20mins from the main station with the tram which is just down the road. Honestly this hostel was the highlight of the trip. It has cheap food and beer as well as a bonfire where everyone gathers at night. Munich itself was amazing so many things to see and do lots of cool areas and museums. I did a free walking tour on my first day and met some cool people through that as well! A few of us also did a day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle which was definitely worth the early morning wake up. Munich is also a great base to go and visit Dauchau concentration camp which is definitely worth a visit, especially as it's free, and a tour is only 4€ which I also recommend but it's definitely very heavy stuff and we all felt very drained afterwards. Overall I met so many amazing people in munich and going just before October fest is great because it's not too crazy or expensive yet.
