hey fellow travel girls :) I am always happy to help, open minded (feminist, bi/queer, slightly spiritual), creative (studying architecture), curious, bold (Aries š¤·š½āāļø) and according to my therapist, Iām hyper-sensitive (overthinking, oversharing, overfeeling, ā¦ all the overs?) letās say I am a little bit of everything - always somewhere between caring too little and too much š (as we all are, I guess) I was born and raised in Leipzig and still live here - so if you need any insider tips, Iām your girl :) Iām not into clubbing that much, since I get overstimulated easily so I probably wonāt have any good recs for that. but Iām always down for a drink at a bar, an ice cream in the park or a picnic at the lake. after going around the world solo once and traveling to about 30 countries, Iād say Iām able to help with any of that as well :) I am the happiest with salty hair, a tan, the sound of the ocean nearby, a mask and fins or a good book and of course with friendly, loving and inspiring people around š¤š¼

Heyy girls, I kinda fled couchsurfing here because it started to be full of thirsty guys instead of real exchange and interest, which it used to be. My friend found this place and now im here! Im living and studying in Leipzig since the end of 2020, but im originally from Helsinki. I also have family in Greece which is why I go there each summer for a visit. I study a mix of informatics and humanities and im very into it. Im not the nerdiest nerd, but programming, digital media, ai and stuff interest me. Otherwise im very artistic and I like stuff like music, film and theater, and obv. i love going out dancing, beer, good food and conversations. Traveling is one of my favorite things, I wish I could do it more. I love warm countries, cities with history, alternative places and ruins, but generally im pretty open for anything and especially with fun company. Balkans, southern Spain and Portugal interest me lately. My wish is to someday do a half year South-America tour (and so also skip winter in Europe). Warning: Im the type of person who says āwe can walk thereā. Sorry, but im not sorry.

Is Leipzig safe for female travelers?
Solo travel
Itās a good city, but itās very quiet at night. Only on Saturdays is it lively, and you can see different types of people. Itās not a big city, but itās nice and the people are friendly. However, itās not very clean.

Leipzig is a lovely city, with a culture and alternative people. If you visit Leipzig i can recommend the Kulki and the Cossi - two beautiful lakes! Also donāt miss the food hotspots like Karl-Heine or Karl-Liebknecht Street! :)
