Poland is generally safe for solo female travellers. The country is generally safe and the people are friendly and welcoming. However, as with any destination, it is important to take the usual safety precautions such as avoiding walking alone at night, being aware of your surroundings, and not carrying large amounts of cash. Additionally, it is important to be aware of the local customs and laws, and to dress modestly.

I spent 6 weeks in Poland. It was beautiful and super safe. I was all over solo, from Mazury region all the way down to Zakopane. Poland is very easy to get around and people are very friendly. Their public transportation is great and Uber is very reasonably priced.
Posted: September 12, 2023I must say, that Poland exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful country. Easy to navigate, clean, safe, old world charm, inexpensive, welcoming to tourists, amazing food, fairy-tale sights and views. I used Old Town Krakow as my base, and visited Krakow, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Wieliczka Salt Mine, Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains, took a rail trip to Wroclaw, and even took a pierogi-making class conducted by a local in Krakow’s Kazimierz district. Highly recommend.
Posted: September 6, 2023Poland was never on my bucket list, but had a chance to go last June for three weeks and had the best time. Started in Gdańsk then went to Poznań then to Warsaw then to Kraków. Felt perfectly safe the entire time. The Polish people were welcoming and friendly.
Posted: August 1, 2023Poland can be a safe destination for solo female travelers, but it's still important to take some precautions to ensure your safety. Here are some safety tips for solo female travelers in Poland:
Before travelling to Poland, it is important to research the area you are visiting. This includes learning about the culture, customs, and any potential safety risks.
When travelling alone, it is important to stay aware of your surroundings. Be aware of people around you and trust your instincts if something doesn’t feel right.
It is best to avoid travelling alone at night, especially in unfamiliar areas. If you must travel at night, try to stay in well-lit and populated areas.
Poland is a conservative country, so it is best to dress modestly. Avoid wearing revealing clothing or clothing with offensive slogans.
It is important to carry a copy of your passport with you at all times. This will help if you are stopped by police or if you need to prove your identity.
Make sure to stay in contact with family and friends while travelling. Let them know where you are and when you plan to return.
Public transportation is the safest way to get around in Poland. Avoid taking taxis or other private transportation services.
It is best to avoid carrying large amounts of cash with you. Use a credit or debit card instead.
Learning some basic Polish phrases can be helpful when travelling in Poland. This will help you communicate with locals and understand signs.
Be aware of common scams in Poland, such as pickpocketing and fake taxi drivers. Be cautious of anyone who approaches you and offers services.

I wouldnlove to meet up in my city, and I'm always looking for travel buddies. I did an interrail solo trip this summer and it was amazing, but I can't imagine how it would've been with friends!

I go to Krakow this weekend and need recommendations for the best bar crawl to do! Also, if anyone could recommend some activities for Sunday (I'm doing Auschwitz and the Salt Mine on Monday) that would be great.
