Did I feel safe? Mostly yes, but with caution. Air raid alerts happen, and you need to stay updated. People go on with life, but the war is still real. I felt safe during the day in central areas, especially with locals around. When there is no shelling, the city is generally calm and full of life. When there is an air raid alert, it is better to take shelter. There is no criminal spirit here. You need to watch your belongings, just like in any city. You get different people, but mostly in Kyiv there is a low level of thieves or criminal stories.

The only yet huge danger is obviously the war that is going on in Ukraine, you never know where the next rocket or drone might hit. Before the full invasion Kyiv was safe place to visit. Nevertheless, it’s beautiful city

Kyiv is really safe city. but war threatens security. There are a lot of people who can help you. If you want to feel a family care you need go to Kyiv. Also there are cheep shops and food. I don’t know how to describe my delight in Kyiv
