Is Benidorm good for solo travel?

Safety:

Safety:Safe

Benidorm is generally known to be a safe city for solo female travelers. It has a low crime rate, and tourists are often the targets of petty rather than violent crimes. It is full of crowded tourist spots and well-lit streets, both of which can contribute to a sense of safety. It's always important, however, to take the typical safety precautions: stay aware of your surroundings, especially at night, and keep an eye on your belongings.
Transport:

Transport:Easy

Benidorm is quite easy to navigate, largely due to its compact size. Many of the major tourist locations and amenities are within walking distance of each other. Public transportation, comprised of buses and trams, are reliable and frequent. It is also a bicycle-friendly city for more adventurous travelers. However, there could be linguistic challenges, as English is not commonly spoken among locals.
Things to do:

Things to do:Interesting

Benidorm has a wonderful blend of both modern and traditional appeal. It boasts stunning beaches like Levante Beach and Poniente Beach with clear waters and golden sands. The Benidorm Old Town stands as a vibrant showcase of Spanish culture and is packed with beautiful churches, charming alleyways, and exceptional eateries. There are also outdoor activities such as hiking and water sports. The city's nightlife is lively with a variety of clubs and bars. In addition, Benidorm is home to various theme and water parks offering fun for all ages. The lack of a '5' rating is only due to it being a bit tourist-dense which might not appeal to everyone.
Food:

Food:Above average

Food in Benidorm is quite good and offers a fair amount of diversity. From traditional Spanish dishes, delicious tapas, and fresh seafood to international cuisines such as Italian and Chinese, there are plenty of options for all palates. Some well-loved dishes not to be missed are the paella and locally-caught seafood. For the more adventurous, there are also opportunities to try unique Basque and Valencian dishes. The quite good quality and diversity is somewhat let down by a lack of variety in vegetarian and vegan options, which prevents a full score.
Budget:

Budget:Affordable

Benidorm is quite budget-friendly, especially if you plan your trip well. The cost of accommodation varies according to location and season, but there are affordable options available throughout the year. Eating out is relatively cheap, and local transport is cost-effective. You can also find numerous free or low-cost attractions to visit.

Is Benidorm worth visiting?

Solo travel experience

Very safe place. Great nightlife. Something for everyone. Great food everywhere. Cheap accommodation but gradually increasing in price for this year. Stayed at Magic Cristal. All inclusive. Great atmosphere. Taxis readily available a few minutes walk or a short wait. As central to new and old town easy to walk to many places.
