Transport:Moderate
Potchefstroom is a relatively small city, so navigating it shouldn't present too many difficulties. However, it can still present some challenges, especially if you do not know the local language, Afrikaans, as it is predominantly spoken here. Signages and instructions might sometimes be in Afrikaans, which can be a barrier. Walking around is typically feasible in the city center but for longer distances, one need to use public transportation or hire a personal vehicle especially because there are few sidewalks in the residential areas. Basic knowledge of the city layout and relative safety during the day can make getting around easier.
