Amazing city, with amazing places to explore. Food is very authentic and delicious, surprisingly very different from the northern cuisine. The night vibe is amazing. Travelling at night in terms of safety is good if you are travelling inside the city. Outskirts of city can be a little risky if you are all alone. It is great if you keep your medium of communication to English (best) or if you manage to learn little phrases in Kannada, people will appreciate it a lot. Overall the city has a...

Lived in various areas of bangalore over the years like kormangala, hsr, electronic city, indiranagar, marathahalli. Apart from Marathahalli all felt safe, HSR is peaceful, Kormangala is where you can find everything so I like these 2 the most. Have noticed some wierd things happening in Whitefield and marathahalli so I don't prefer to go out much at these places.

So I have been in banglore since one month and I have travelled here and there using metro or Rapido but not once I felt a man is staring at me in a wrong way. Although I do say that people who don’t know how to speak native language might find difficult to communicate with locals
Posted: June 30, 2026Bangalore is a safe place but at times small scams might happen in terms of money for foreigners. Night life is good in bangalore and it is quite safe to travel around during night as many people will be awake during night.
Posted: June 24, 2026Bengaluru is beautiful , much safer than most of Indian cities , however need to be cautious and avoid night travel, the city is modern and has all facilities needed. The airport has good connectivity to all major international and national locations

It's safe for men honestly, but there's night life and police on rounds, but men here have a fetish on women who wear a little bit of revealing no it's not that safe , yet women are very generous and they stand for themselves.
