Solo travel

Lived in various areas of bangalore over the years like kormangala, hsr, electronic city, indiranagar, marathahalli. Apart from Marathahalli all felt safe, HSR is peaceful, Kormangala is where you can find everything so I like these 2 the most. Have noticed some wierd things happening in Whitefield and marathahalli so I don't prefer to go out much at these places.

Group travel

Actually, India is not the safest space especially for girls. - Because of the culture it is not so common for a girl to wear a short dress (don’t open shoulders and knees) - Also, it has awful traffic and it is dangerous to cross the road sometimes so do it carefully - The food is spicy so take some pills with you if you don’t used to spicy food

Bengaluru is beautiful , much safer than most of Indian cities , however need to be cautious and avoid night travel, the city is modern and has all facilities needed. The airport has good connectivity to all major international and national locations

It's safe for men honestly, but there's night life and police on rounds, but men here have a fetish on women who wear a little bit of revealing no it's not that safe , yet women are very generous and they stand for themselves.

Bangalore is safe as long as you know when to go where. Places like Majestic are like the main Central point of the city and everybody has to go there. During both day and night it is kinda risky for women to visit this place even if it is the main Central point of the city. Lalbagh and Cubbon park are known for their scenic view but as it's a huge place, there are chances of people misbehaving. Church Street is another main street in Bangalore which offers night life and many people are seen...

Safe overall but women need to be smart and aware at all times - everyone is nice and friendly but there’s still a lot of uneducated men or people on the streets, so harassment is easy, although it is less than in north India
