How safe is Bangalore for solo female travelers?

Group travel

Actually, India is not the safest space especially for girls. - Because of the culture it is not so common for a girl to wear a short dress (don’t open shoulders and knees) - Also, it has awful traffic and it is dangerous to cross the road sometimes so do it carefully - The food is spicy so take some pills with you if you don’t used to spicy food

It is very safe whether it's day or night. Women can walk freely at any hour of the day without anyone bothering. People are generally friendly and helpful. There is little communication gap but it doesn't create much problem for outsiders.

I live near JP Nagar so I find it safe but sometimes taking late night Auto doesn’t feel very safe as a woman so I would prefer for getting home before it’s 1030. I have also been near Ira Nagar for a few months and I prefer the same for Indra Nagar as well because I don’t find it hundred percent safe even neo metros. so I have a few Women cab and taxi driver numbers. In case of some planned trip I would prefer that

Bangalore is generally considered one of the safe cities in India. It is always suggested to be cautious. Specially if you’re travelling solo. Always ask local women for directions or places to go. Bangalore has nice nightlife. Not too much like Mumbai but better than other cities of India.
