Is West Jefferson safe for solo female travelers?

West Jefferson is a small mountain town and may of the people here have lived in this area for generations. While there was a known issue with SA in workplaces or at public schools, it has dropped dramatically over the years. West Jefferson is quiet at night, as many of the stores close by 8, and the night life is nonexistent.
