Is St. Louis safe for solo female travelers?

St. Louis, like many other major cities, has areas that are safe and others that are less so. During the day, downtown and many of the tourist areas are generally safe and bustling. However, some neighborhoods may pose safety risks, particularly at night. As always, it's important to stay aware of your surroundings, use common sense, and take normal precautions such as avoiding unlit streets at night and not openly displaying expensive items. Public transportation is available and reliable, but always better to use during the day. St. Louis offers a wide range of cultural attractions and is an interesting city to explore, but it's crucial to be informed about which areas are safe to visit.

Im not gonna lie we were rated number 2 on most dangerous cities in the US but number one was Memphis and a lot of tourists still go there. We have safer areas on the outskirts of the city. I'll tell you the extreme safe places.

Really safe city for visitors. There's not much crime outside of some isolated areas and those areas dont look like places youd want to walk around at night. As with any large city, if you are in a shady area, you might have your car broken into. So, practice big city safety and you'll be just fine!
