The majority of crimes are car theft and the occasional shootings. There are parts of downtown that can be sketchy but just like any other city. There are cops outside the main strip of clubs on the weekends surveying the area. Pickpocketing is low or non existent. I have been fortunate not to experience anything bad in my hometown.

It really depends on where you go, I’d stay away from downtown alone at night as there are many drug users there, but most other places you should be fine honestly!! It’s not a very walkable city. We have a bus system but I’m not sure how good it is.

Overall relatively safe. A few bad actors in the downtown area and some of the suburbs. I feel safe taking the bus, hiking alone in most areas, and chatting with strangers. There are a few places I don’t go alone - specifically on centennial trail.

About me

Hi I’m Hannah. I am usually traveling in the winter for ski trips and festivals in the summer. For me, life is all about the experiences we create and the people we meet. I am so grateful for the memories I’ve created with people from all around the world and I’m looking to continue expanding my horizons. I’m excited to give back to this community since others have done the same for me in the past. I love to be outdoors but a staycation is always much needed at times. I have a black cat named Loki. I studied biology in school. I like to learn and I’m always down for trying something new

About me

Hello! I’m hoping to travel this October to either Barcelona Spain or Lisbon Portugal for my 30th birthday. I have traveled quite a bit but never alone. Looking for a potential travel buddy, host, or friend in the city. I love exploring, nightlife, genuine cultural experiences, and food most of all.
