Santa Cruz, California, USA is such a charming and wonderful place. It has the best of both worlds with mountains and redwood forests while also being on the beach. It’s perfect for hippies and surfers and music lovers. There is always something fun to do :)! About me

I am an athletic, adventuresome, young senior eager to travel again. Spent 2 1/2 years in Zambia as a Peace Corps Volunteer-turned 65 while serving. Met & worked with the kindest folks ever, including the youth. Now, finally, I plan to travel for my 75th BD. I want to make it to Morocco, then ferry across Gilbraltar, hang out a couple days along Mediterranean, head up to northern Spain into Portugal, walk some of Camino, & enjoy cultures: music, food, people, nature's beauty & peace. Looking for places to stay as I travel the roads-hostels & women hosts, small local inns...I am easy-going, friendly, love families, teens, & youth(tho I treasure quiet environments, midst the fun & laughter).
