Very very small town, nothing happens here haha. There are plenty of natural sites that you may encounter wildlife on (bears, coyotes, foxes), but the chances of human vs. human crime are quite low. That said, nearby cities (Winston-Salem, Greensboro) may pose a bit more concern.
