Is Sandpoint safe for solo female travelers?

Sandpoint has generally a safe and welcoming environment to solo female travellers. It's a small resort town with a tight-knit community and usually there aren't significant safety concerns. However, as is the case in any place, it's advised to remain vigilant, especially during night hours.
