Is Polson safe for solo female travelers?

Polson is generally noted as a peaceful rural town with friendly local residents. The town, nestled within the Rocky Mountains and alongside Flathead Lake, is fairly safe for solo female travelers. Daylight hours are particularly safe whilst walking around, though, like all locations, it is important to take normal safety precautions during late hours. Minimal levels of crime are reported, mainly being minor incidences.
