Is Pasadena worth visiting?

Solo travel

Pasadena was just lovely! I stayed at the Huntington Pasadena, which was expensive but worth it. I felt like a princess! As someone who does not drive, one great perk about this hotel is that they offer a free car service to anywhere in a 10-minute radius. There are great museums, restaurants, and a bustling downtown. It was beautiful and very safe. I especially loved visiting the Huntington Gardens.

Is Pasadena safe for women?

Pasadena is pretty safe. There may be some safety concerns but I feel generally safe here. I would stay in the Old Pasadena area the civic center next to it just because there are a lot of nice buildings and many restaurants, shopping, a few bars, cafes to walk to. The is a Metro rail line that connects Pasadena to Downtown Los Angeles. Most major hotels are on or with 2 blocks of Colorado Blvd on the western end of Pasadena.
