Is Oklahoma City worth visiting?

Group travel

I traveled here for work and was so happy my firm was covering expenses because OKC is the best food spot! The food&drink scene here is underrated. I highly recommend getting an Oklahoma classic, the smash burger!

Is Oklahoma City safe for women?

Like any city, Oklahoma City has areas that are very safe and areas that aren’t as safe. In general, I feel very safe here. The downtown area is relatively quiet and I haven’t had any issues. As long as you stay in areas that are meant to be walkable, then you should be fine!

About me

My name is Anna! I’ve been a global citizen my whole life, with my first six years spent in rural Nigeria. Since then, I’ve lived in different places around the U.S. and Europe. I’ve chosen a career in international development that allows me to travel the world while making a difference. I’m grateful for all the experiences I’ve had in various places and cultures and am a better person because of what I’ve seen during my time traveling. More recently, I bought a historic home and have been slowly renovating it. In my free time, I love traveling (of course), hosting dinner parties, working in my garden, going to concerts, picnics in the park, and spending time with family and friends.
