Couple travel

We recently took the van from Seattle to Oceanside, CA. The weather here, in comparison, is highly recommended! I found that there were plenty of places to park either in lots by the beach or street parking. The general area was very very safe and the people friendly with a relaxed beach vibe lots of great food places, especially Mexican food we consumed a lot of tacos!

Is Oceanside safe for women?

Safaa

Safaa

Lots of women around, family neighborhood, increasingly getting more and more safe. My fear is not because my neighborhood, but because I am a woman and would be worried walking alone anywhere at night

Downtown area is well lit and patrolled. Being out in the restaurant areas and bars is pretty popular and many locals will be out too. Since we’re a smaller city, it is easy to move around town without anyone really bothering. Most people here mind their days, will offer help if you need directions.
