Nevada City is a small town, it is safe and everyone knows eachother and people are very friendly in the town. There are a lot of people who own guns and marijuana growers so it’s important to not wonder on someone’s property when backpacking because it might be a grow sight and the owner might have a gun which is dangerous. Women wear whatever they want and go swimming naked in the river which is safe, but go in a group because there are spots with no cell service and that is dangerous to be alone. Like everywhere, some men are creepy and they may live remotely in the forest with no cell reception so don’t go home with them if you don’t know them. But mainly everyone is very friendly and the town is small and safe and surrounded by the most beautiful wilderness.

About Me

My name is Sophie and I live in Nevada City in California, USA. My city is small with a really small nightlife but it’s really beautiful, it’s up in the mountains and very fun to camp or go to the river or go skiing in the winter, I can show all the good spots and drive anywhere. San Francisco is a 2.5 hour drive away and I can take you to punk shows or raves in SF. I’m a musician and I love mountains and the ocean and old buildings and art and I really love to travel and meet new people and I love going out at night in cities or to see the stars. Super grateful for this app!
