Modesto offers more than 200 restaurants, cafes, coffee houses and other eating establishments. Many restaurants, along with Modesto's night clubs, pubs and lounges offer a variety of evening entertainment opportunities. Make sure to visit The Gallo Arts Center, Prospect Theater Project, The State Theater, and the Graffiti Car Museum. If you arrive at the right time of the year you can experience Graffiti Night , Porchfest, the Oakdale Rodeo (Cowboy capital of the World) or the Riverbank Wine and Cheese. The best part is being two hours from so many California favorites. Some favorites are the coast (Santa Cruz), the forest (Pinecrest), the snow (Dodge Ridge), the city (S.F.) and Yosemite.
