When I walk alone at night my biggest fear is getting sprayed by a skunk! And during the day it’s the ticks! The people? No concerns there. I have hitchhiked and picked up hitchhikers. I have never felt unsafe here. I have come across people who have been overly friendly but it has never been in a sketchy or harmful way. I love the nude beach, everybody minds their own business. Overall a very friendly vibe. Very safe to travel alone here.
