About me

I'm Mandy, a 53yr old Brit who has called America home since 2007. After spending 15 years in Georgia, I thankfully found my piece of paradise in California in 2022, where I now live on the dormant volcano Mount Konocti which overlooks the stunning Clear Lake. It's a designated dark sky area, offering incredible stargazing opportunities & the kind of very peaceful quiet that soothes the soul. I follow no religion, just guided by good morals. My journey here has been one of transformation and rediscovery. I'm a proud late-in-life lesbian and feminist who believes deeply in creating safe spaces for women. This belief was profoundly influenced by my daughter Milly, who passed away from bone cancer in 2017 at age 21 & a legacy that continues to inspire my commitment to supporting and empowering women. I also have a great son Bobby 27yrs, who still resides in GA! My home is a work in progress (aren't we all?), and I'm renovating it into my dream sanctuary. Social drinker only to be polite, but love my herbs. 4 bed house, split level & plenty of privacy. When I'm not volunteering at the local donkey sanctuary, I work as a researcher for a well-known psychic medium. My interests are diverse – from hunting for banana slugs and nudibranchs along the coast to exploring the mountains and beautiful herb varieties here. I'm an avid hiker and treasure hunter at charity shops and estate sales, always seeking out the unique and interesting & love this new life! As someone who has traveled extensively, I understand the importance of feeling safe and welcomed while exploring new places. My home is a feminist-friendly, LGBTQ+ affirming space where you can be entirely yourself while experiencing the authentic charm of rural California living.
