Beautiful city. Just like any other city in America, Use common sense and basic safety protocols , be aware of your surroundings and always have a safety plan. Would recommend still for solo or couple traveling
Posted: March 25, 2025Jacksonville is the largest city by land mass in the U.S. with many different communities. The neighborhood I live in is very safe and there are many safe areas. Parts of downtown and surrounding areas can be worrisome but are easily avoidable. Ive also been out at night in downtown with a female friend and we had no issues.

Hi ! I'm Rachel, a proud lesbian and adventurer who works for the United States Post Office. I’m all about embracing spontaneity, whether that means taking an unexpected road trip or diving into new experiences. Traveling is my passion, and I’m always ready for the next adventure—whether it’s exploring a new city, hiking in nature, or discovering a hidden gem. My job at the post office keeps me grounded, but I’m always dreaming of the next place to visit or a new challenge to take on. I love living life to the fullest, meeting new people, and finding joy in the unexpected!
