Most parts of Jacksonville are relatively safe, especially during the day. You’ll want to avoid downtown at night. The city is very spread out and public transportation is severely lacking so you’ll likely need to rent a car here.

I honestly haven't had any bad experience, thank God. But I have seen on the news and I have heard that Jackaonville is one of the most dangerous cities in Florida, so that worries me. But honestly I haven't experienced it and hopefully I don't have to.

Beautiful city. Just like any other city in America, Use common sense and basic safety protocols , be aware of your surroundings and always have a safety plan. Would recommend still for solo or couple traveling
