Is Idaho safe for solo female travelers?

Idaho is generally a safe destination for solo female travelers. Although small towns and rural areas can feel desolate and isolated, crimes, especially those targeting tourists, are relatively low compared to other states. It is advisable to take typical safety precautions like not walking alone at night in unfamiliar areas, keeping valuables hidden, and staying alert of your surroundings. One of the concerns could be wildlife encounters in the outdoors, so appropriate precautions should be taken if you are hiking or camping.

Solo travel

If you're ever in grangeville Idaho during the summer I'd recommend you go to the blue fox theater or the outdoor theater. I stayed at one of the two hotels in town and it's a little bit dated but still good overall
