I would say Houston is relatively safe. You just want to know the safest areas in town. Some of the neighborhoods East tend to be more dangerous than the neighborhoods in the West. Public transportation is very minimal. Safe areas will include the galleria area. Montrose. The heights. Downtown. Midtown. Rice university area.

Houston is like any other city as far as risk, but I haven’t had any problems personally myself in Houston and I’ve been here over 11 years. Most people here are hard working people. It’s safe enough to travel alone, because I travel alone to most places myself and I feel pretty safe.

Hi, I'm Rosie I live in Houston Texas and love traveling and meeting new people. I have been active in airbnb starting 2014 with my first international trip to China. I'm originally from Mexico City and I'm very in tune with my culture. Can't wait to meet new friends thru this new app.
