Is Greensboro Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

During the day, very safe. At night, gets VERY busy and uncomfortable. There is a mix of pedestrians and cars, and the people driving drive fast and loud. Going back to day, it's pretty empty aside from people going to the local coffee shops

Greensboro is part of the Piedmont Trail region, the 3rd largest metropolis in the state of North Carolina, and is solidly safe with very little crime (especially relative to the more densely populated Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham metropolises).
