Is Gansevoort Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Gansevoort is incredibly safe in my opinion. I rent a room in a house on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. Never had any packages stolen off the porch, no home or car burglary. I’m right on the edge of Gansevoort/Wilton and Saratoga Springs, so most of my errands are in SS. I’d be careful June-early September in SS and try to avoid Broadway and Union Ave because it gets swamped with tourists for the race track.
