Florida is generally safe, but it definitely is better to travel in a group. There's definitely bigger cities that can be unsafe or certain areas, like Miami tampa sometimes orlando. The night life can be unsafe too, but again I would recommend traveling in a group.

Florida is a very calm state. There is not a lot of aggression and most touristy spots are in good areas. I think some places in Miami and more of the ghetto is a bit sketchy, but I think Florida is safe and relaxed. However it’s always good to be cautious specifically at night and especially in parking lots.

Florida is generally safe. I’d just be careful about marrying with men and going out alone at night. Definitely carry gel pepper spray with you. Always let someone you trust know where you are and have your location. You don’t have to be scared though.
