Flagstaff is the type of place where if you're nice everyone is nice. There is always alot of tourist during all seasons so there is always bisy traffic and strangers from different places coming in and out. This knowledge is based on my few weeks here and the experiences friends have shared with me: Flagstaff is fairly dark which may seem spooky but it is actually pretty calm and safe. All public transportation drivers I have encountered have been nice and not weird or suspicious at all.
