I recently traveled to Fairbanks as my solo graduation trip. I took the trip in effort to catch northern lights. The trip was very beautiful and unreal. The city was very safe and found good food too. The experiences were amazing including; northern lights viewing, snow hike, cultural museum, hot spring, snowmobile and dog sledding. People were friendly too and made many new friends.

How safe is Fairbanks for women?

Fairbanks is a safe place to live. I've bartended downtown for three years, and I would rate the area's safety as a level 1 on a scale from 1 to scary. Additionally, I work in behavioral health and have held various positions in that field for nearly 15 years. We are often referred to as "square banks”.
