Very safe! It’s a college town so most residents are students. Bike theft is the highest crime but other than that it’s pretty safe. I know there have been some instances at fraternities with hazing and assault but just avoid that and you’re good.

Corvallis is generally safe close to the OSU campus, though there is a rising unhoused population contributing to events like assault and can be especially targeted towards individuals that are LGBT+. So while it is situational and generally safe, there have been recent events that keep me from saying it is safe.
