Small city, fairly safe. People of color will face some challenges, people may have stereotypes or biases and may say rude or inappropriate things. Not much crime happens I’ve never really heard of breakins or anyone getting robbed. People are typically pretty helpful.

Concord is a diverse city that is mostly safe but there are areas that have a high gang / homeless saturation. With basic street smarts you'll be absolutely fine. "Bipping" (breaking car windows in & stealing what's inside) cars is a common occurrence throughout the Bay area. Never leave anything of value in your vehicle, especially not out in open view.

About Me

I've got a killer sense of humor and love laughing with friends, great food, and stiff drinks. I didn't grow up with much money and only started traveling out of the country 2 years ago. I've been to Cat Kay - a small island in the Bahamas, Tulum, & Playa del Carmen 😁
