I have not spotted many homeless people in Bradenton. I haven't been to downtown Bradenton at night much so I might not be the best judge on town safety. I have heard that the more East in the town you live, the safer it is. I live in the Eastern part of the city and feel safe here.

Safe as long as you are using your common sense as a woman. It’s not unsafer than anywhere but if you’re walking around by yourself at 3 am that’s unsafe to basically do anywhere as a woman. Public transportation isn’t really developed here as well.
