Is Arkadelphia safe for solo female travelers?

Arkadelphia is generally known as a safe city with low crime rates. However, like every other city, one must always be aware of her surroundings. There are a number of university students due to the presence of two universities which contribute to the safety of the area. As a solo traveler, during the night times, it is advised to avoid isolated areas and stick to well-lit and populated areas. Always have some form of communication device handy.
