I consider Carrollton pretty safe. We do live near the DART (light rail) so we have more of an influx of all types of folks. Near our neighborhood there is some light drug activity and a break-in here or there. We have not had a break in but our neighbors had a package stolen from their porch. I feel comfortable walking in my neighborhood at night but would be smart, keep my eyes peeled and usually walk with my large dog.
