Posted: January 8, 2026It was fun, but you have to book popular attractions beforehand. Like on 30th December it was impossible to buy tickets to the Museum of the Future until 12th January. Overall I felt safe, but I lived at the friend‘s house in the good residential area (as a one my taxi drivers said). And I even went to take my friend‘s dog for a walk at night alone. The people were very friendly and warm. The public transport mostly useful in the main locations. So I had to use taxis a lot. But on the bright...
Posted: January 8, 2026Just got back from Dubai and honestly, I felt super safe and welcome the whole time—even wandering around random side streets or alleys on my own. Of course I checked out the common must-see spots (Burj Khalifa, desert tour, etc.), but what I loved most was chatting with locals and diving into the cultural side of the city! That exchange made the trip way more meaningful than just ticking attractions off a list, you know 🙂↔️ Getting around was easy with metro + taxis, and you can make it...
Posted: September 2, 2025My trip to Dubai was mostly for the purpose of visiting an exhibition, and it was completely safe while I was at the exhibition. One of the safest cities in the world, it has surveillance cameras everywhere and the police and emergency contacts are quickly responsive and cooperative. I personally keep my car unlocked and don’t feel any kind of danger :)
Posted: May 26, 2026Pretty safe. Follow the commonsensical global safety rules and you will be good :) it’s a lovely city to explore and most public transport is very dependable and super safe. Though as anywhere, do be vary of strangers and offers which sound too good to be true :)
Posted: April 5, 2026Dubai has always felt very calm and safe to me. Recently the regional situation changed and the atmosphere shifted a little, but overall the city still remains one of the most peaceful and secure places to live.
Posted: March 5, 2026Dubai is safe in public spaces but as a women be careful. If something happens to you don’t try to report it leave the country. Stay away from people who use or carry drugs as arrests here often involve everyone who’s around and there’s no innocent until proven guilty
