However, just like in any other city, it is important to stay cautious, especially during late-night travels.

Is Abu Dhabi worth visiting?

Family travel

Abu Dhabi has to be the safest city I've ever been to! Left my wallet in a park and drove somewhere else. Came back to find it intact exactly where I left it more than 1 hr later! The food was also amazing and verrrrryy international. The weather in August is extremely hot outside. Either stay indoors or don't travel at that time. UAE is generally much better in the winter.

Really safe actually. Cameras are there almost everywhere in public and there's always police around to check on streets and local buses if people are following the rules. If you avoid certain seculuded places you will be totally fine alone. I'm not a local but I've lived in this city my entire life.

Abu dhabi has been on the list of safest places for women time and time again. I do a lot of moving around in taxis and I always feel safe. The only time I don't feel safe is if ons of the taxi drivers want to marry me.
