I have never heard or experienced any physical harassment except Maybe cat calling. Night walks might be a bit worrisome coz there are instances where strangers will call you. But overall it is not that dangerous.
Posted: January 20, 2025Low crime and harassment risk and moderate to high chances of public transportation (your own car preferably tho) Welcoming and nice citizens As a foreigner, you won't feel homesick in this Emirate for some reason . If you're planning to come to UAE, especially Ajman for entertainment, do very good research before you come and highly consider the traffic rush hours.
Posted: January 20, 2025Very safe! It is one of the only places in the world where you can walk alone at night without overthinking. I'd, however, recommend being a bit careful staying in the non-main areas of Dubai like Nahda, Deira, etc, where catcalling could be a little bit of an issue.
Posted: January 16, 2025I would say it’s safe, especially if you go around with someone who knows the area. There are also specific transportation vehicles, i’ve been commuting my whole school life so I can say that is also pretty good. The people are especially nice, hospitable and friendly.
Posted: January 4, 2025Dubai is very safe, and walking around at 3 am poses no problem even if you’re alone. In certain areas you can even leave your valuable belongings unattended and you’d come back to find them untouched. There are specific areas (industrial areas generally) that can make you feel a bit comfortable walking around them at night, mainly due to the sheer number of men walking around, but none would actually dare to cross your path, it’s just the general discomfort we normally experience around a large number of men in one place. I’d say Dubai and UAE in general is by far the safest place I’ve been to.

You can take cabs at any time, obviously always stay cautious of their route because rarely they’ll try something but it still happens, you can dress how you want when going out to clubs in most areas. Men will approach you but will rarely touch you or try something crazy and even then usually there are bouncers you can complain to or you can just make a scene and they’ll get the message. Men here are more ego than they are an actual danger.

Dubai is the safest country in the world for women without a doubt. I lived there for 15 years and never experienced a issue of safety outside. I never felt unsafe or in danger ever. There are cameras everywhere and police cars. At any sign of violence people are thrown in jail so no one plays around.
Posted: December 27, 2024Being alone women here is safe here . You can wear what you want you can do what you want. If you have job and accommodation, you re so lucky and you should stay at Dubai. Because the rules are so strict

Posted: December 14, 2024Ras al Khaimah is extremely safe. It's easy to walk around alone, take buses and taxis and travel between Emirates alone. You never have to worry about crime, as the crime levels are very low. Most crimes in tourist areas happen between tourists, so just be aware of your belongings. However, I only know of one instance where a bag was stolen from a beach. Most people leave their belongings everywhere because it truly is so safe.

It was excellent. I recommend to book a safari. There are a lot of cheap ones with everything included. Recommend visiting Burj Khalifa of course and Dubai Mall. Also the aquarium in the mall is amazing. The amazing infinity pool at Aura. Beef bar has excellent food to order but also this Korean restaurant right next to the fountains is top.

I felt extremely safe, even when I was wearing a more modern dress. Out of respect for the culture, I did try to dress more conservatively but did not encounter any weird looks, cat calling or open flirting from locals. I would recommend in Dubai to stay in Downtown as you can easily reach all the touristic attractions. Marina is also very nice, you are close to the Palm. Use the subway, the traffic is insane and can add up in terms of costs.
