It's the safest place you'll ever see, or at least the place you'll feel safest, like a different utopia. Those who live here understand what I mean better, but if you have a travel plan, don't hesitate.
Posted: September 10, 2025I traveled Dubai in the summer and did many activities during the evening or night. Felt very safe the entire time. The people are very friendly and respectful. Public transport, taxis, and walking around were all comfortable, even in some random side streets and alleys. Just keep in mind to dress modestly and respect local customs as well.
Posted: September 2, 2025Dubai is amazing. Don't visit secluded places, follow your track, enjoy the views and stay relaxed! Dubai is perfect place for a solo woman traveler, public transport is amazing, taxis are safe, enormous food options are available. Just don't go out of your way to see or do something that might look exciting but your heart is the ready for!
Posted: September 1, 2025so far it's the country I feel most safe in thanks to the strict laws enforced here. when compared to the other places I've been to, it's a comfortable place to stay in and not worry constantly about being in danger.
Posted: August 24, 2025Very safe for women. Didn’t have any negative experiences! In fact, the men were incredibly kind and generous. One of them even offered to pay for my groceries. Asking for help as a foreigner was very easy.

Just got back from Dubai and honestly, I felt super safe and welcome the whole time—even wandering around random side streets or alleys on my own. Of course I checked out the common must-see spots (Burj Khalifa, desert tour, etc.), but what I loved most was chatting with locals and diving into the cultural side of the city! That exchange made the trip way more meaningful than just ticking attractions off a list, you know 🙂↔️ Getting around was easy with metro + taxis, and you can make it work on pretty much any budget depending on where you stay and eat. I think it‘s best to stay near the attractions you want to visit and then take the metro accordingly. Tickets aren‘t expensive; just get a NOL card.
