Posted: January 8, 2026It was fun, but you have to book popular attractions beforehand. Like on 30th December it was impossible to buy tickets to the Museum of the Future until 12th January. Overall I felt safe, but I lived at the friend‘s house in the good residential area (as a one my taxi drivers said). And I even went to take my friend‘s dog for a walk at night alone. The people were very friendly and warm. The public transport mostly useful in the main locations. So I had to use taxis a lot. But on the bright...
Posted: January 8, 2026Just got back from Dubai and honestly, I felt super safe and welcome the whole time—even wandering around random side streets or alleys on my own. Of course I checked out the common must-see spots (Burj Khalifa, desert tour, etc.), but what I loved most was chatting with locals and diving into the cultural side of the city! Abudhabi is a pretty safe city. The Government here is really good! I personally have not experienced anything. But you can roam out late night and nothing would happen to you until you give a chance to someone. But it’s better not to go into too dark and less crowd places in the middle of night. It’s like better safe than sorry. Here women are loved. So if you’re uncomfortable then… the CID or the police is always there to support you. And guess what you would never loose anything in public....

Dubai is very safe, it’s how the place is advertised to the world and it stands true and they pride themselves on this accomplishment. As someone who was born and raised here, I can attest to that despite recent activities in the area. (ahem ahem)
Posted: June 21, 2026One of the safest cities in the world, it has surveillance cameras everywhere and the police and emergency contacts are quickly responsive and cooperative. I personally keep my car unlocked and don’t feel any kind of danger :)
