Samsun is the most mixed city in Türkiye. Some parts are safe and decent while some parts are not. I know all the safe and dangerous places. So i act accordingly. But i can say, as a woman Türkiye is not the most safe country :(

I went to Samsun with my sister. She is studying Engineering in Samsun and I felt more secure than crowded cities like Ankara which I live in Ankara. Of course I was prepared but when I landed to Samsun the people were genuine and protective so it was a good experience for me.

You can walk alone after Dark Especially ın Summer streets are full of people until late hours but it can change from one district to another You can live safely without fear of murder or kidnapping or burglary in Atakum
