Is Eskisehir Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Eskisehir is generally a friendly city, with welcoming locals. As a university city, it's often bustling and lively, and presents a less conservative atmosphere compared to other parts of the country which can make foreigners, especially female solo travelers, feel more comfortable. General safety precautions such as avoiding deserted areas late at night or not flashing expensive belongings should be followed like any other city worldwide. Public transportation is reliable, but as always, be cautious while using it, especially during the night. The presence of local police is quite visible around the city, providing an additional layer of security.

Is Eskisehir worth visiting?

Group travel

Eskisehir has an amazing center with lots of museums and historical houses. O really recommend OMM ( odunpazari modern museum). Also princess castle in Sazova park was perfect. You should try 'çibörek' as a traditional food.

Is Eskisehir safe for women?

Eskişehir is a small and safe city. There are law enforcement officers everywhere. I haven't encountered any incidents so far. I have been living here for 4 years. Everyone knows their limits. I haven't experienced any harassment or violence. Everyone helps each other. The presence of many active feminists makes me feel good.
