The city is really quiet and nice and people are so sweet. I’m staying during three months. I’m studying at the Chinese university and it’s really nice and people are really welcoming. I really recommend this destination. 

It's a good and safe city for all the people I can walk on the streets in the midnight The only thing that you need to worry about is the traffic here. There are lots of car accidents because some people don't follow the rules. Best advice is taking the public transport or find a local give you a ride

Very safe except traffic, the driver here is not very considerate 😭and not everywhere has sidewalks so be careful when you are a pedestrian 😞🚶‍➡️ Overall, Kaohsiung is a safe and friendly place!me and my friends have never been robbed or assaulted, you can put your Mac on Starbucks table and go to the bathroom for a while and nobody will steal it, so i think it’s quite safe here!

Grew up and lived in Kaohsiung for 20+ years. It’s a very safe place with friendly people. The transportation system makes it easy to tour around the city. Kaohsiung has a lot to offer. From hiking, sun bathing by the beach to historic sites and various modern entertainment, you can surely find the one you enjoy!
