I spent a week travelling around with my parents in the western parts. We did some challenging hikes, but every step was worth it. The views were stunning. The crystal clear water is no joke. It was fun to swim in the Alpine rivers. We did Tolmin, Vintgar, Kozak, Bled, Postojna, Maribor, Skocjan. My favourite was Skocjan. It is out of this world. The size of that underground canyon is just unbelievable. I wish I could post pictures of it, but it was not allowed. But if you need to make a decision between Postojna or Skocjan. Easily Skocjan. It’s the most beautiful place I’ve been. The surroundings are beautiful! The people I’ve met were also very nice. It’s all very cheap but the food is not greaaat. In Ljubljana it was tho. Nice country to wander around in.
